      Rule 2: Smile

1) "Actions speak louder than words, and a smile says, "I like you. You make me happy. I am glad to see you."

2) "You dont feel like smiling? Then force your self to smile.

3) "It creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in a business, and is the countersign (witness or indication) of friends."

Just smiling can really make others like you more because if you spend all day looking sad then others start feeling sad to. Your sadness passes on to the next person. If you want friends then you need to smile to show others that your happy to see then or content that your there. Some people say they don't feel like smiling, those people are saying that they are unwilling to smile, they are saying it is not worth it to smile. If they dont feel like smiling then they also dont feel like making new friends. people don't like someone who wont smile.

     Rule 3: Remember Names

1) "A man's name is to him the sweetest and most important sound in my language."

2) "if you don't remember names, you are heading for trouble."

Reflection: Remembering names is important it saw people who you meet recently that you took the to remember their names. it can show them that you at least cared to remember it. but not only can it show them that you care it can show them that you have a good memory, to learn their names so quickly. so remembering names is much more than knowing names it shows that you bothered to learn it.

Rule 4: Be a good listener. Encourage others to talk about themselves.

1) "If you aspire to be a good conversationalist, be an  attentive listener."

2) "Remember that the man you are talking to is a hundred times more interested in himself and wants his problems them he is in you and your problems."

Reflection: being a good listener is more than hearing the word that come out your friends mouth. its about understanding too. listening and responding to them is important it shows you care and will make them think that your someone who they and trust or they can talk to. talking isn't always about you people have other int rest and their likes and their dislikes. they have their own lifes and they'd like to talk about.

Rule 5: Talk in terms of the other mans interest.

"The royal road to a man's heart is to talk to him about the things he treasures most."

Reflection: In a conversation there are many things to talk about. depending on the person they can be open and talk about what they like or they can be closed and not talk about it. you have to keep this in mind and find out their interest. show them that you like to hear what they are talking about. find out what they like the most and bring it up so they'll be stunned and be your friend.

Rule 6: Make the other person feel important--and do it sincerely.

"The desire to be important is the deepest urge in the human nature."(John Dewey)"Helping people feel important and appreciated works magic."

Reflection: Rule number 6 in the "Six ways to make people like you"is to make the other person feel important--and do it sincerely. This means that to make someone like you you must make them feel important. There are many ways you can do this but the better way to do this is to honestly mean it. You can say that someone is important to you but if you didn't truly mean it then you wouldn't be doing anyone good.
